Highway Engineer
Location: Andover, MA (In-office work)
Contract to Hire/Direct hire
Senior Highway Engineer:
The management team is actively seeking (1-2) Senior Highway Engineer candidates with a minimum 8-10 years of highway design experience. This will be an in-office role Monday thru Friday with the potential of some on-site visits. Candidates must be able to perform design and lead design staff in the preparation of technical analysis and highway design documents for the development of highway engineering projects for both private and public sector clients. Responsibilities include highway design; grading and drainage analysis and design; preparation of construction plans, specifications and quantity and cost estimates; client representation at project and public meetings; administration efforts including project scheduling and invoicing; and participation in project proposal efforts.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) certification
Strong communication
Computer skills with a working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
Familiar with MassDOT design guidelines.
