Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Installing and removing hardware into racks efficiently and neatly.
Collaborating with other technology teams to determine network and storage connections.
Entering Service Requests for network/storage/telecom connections.
Entering documentation in work orders.
Adding new equipment in the Data Center Inventory system (dcTrack).
Editing records in the Data Center Inventory system as needed.
Monitoring Incident, Requests and Changes in the ITSM system (Service Now).
Working on Incident, Change, and Service Request tickets as needed.
Configuring Power Distribution Units (PDUs).
Managing records in the Data Center Energy Management and Power Monitoring Software (PowerIQ).
Assisting Data Center users and acting as a technical consultant.
Participating in project meetings and meeting deadlines.
Maintaining the neatness of all Data Centers.
Coordinating delivery of equipment to other sites.
Being on-call as scheduled.
Working various shifts including weekends and holidays as scheduled.
