Summary
We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team at LearnWell. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing the accuracy, timeliness, and consistency of financial reporting and accounting transactions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Monitor, manage, and perform month end close procedures
· Monitor and review general ledger activity for accuracy
· Monitor cash flow, accounts, and other financial transactions
· Compile analytics of KPI’s and other financial metrics
· Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
· Prepare spreadsheets for planning, compliance and audit issues
· Prepare journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations along with research/reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and maintaining monthly reconciliations
· Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely monthly financial statements and supporting financial information distributed to senior management
· Assist in year-end audit preparation
· Ensure all transactions are in accordance with GAAP
· Assist in the review and monitoring of Accounts Receivable balances to ensure timely collection
· Support annual budget process
SALARY: $70-$75k/yr benefits

Qualifications
· Minimum 3 years of experience with general accounting and data analysis
· Thorough understanding of GAAP and strong understanding of the general ledger and financial statements
· High attention to detail
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Experience with month end and year end close process
· Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business documents
· Proficient computer skills-Microsoft Suite with high proficiency in Excel (Intacct experience preferred, but not required)
· Commitment to quality
· Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines
· Team player with excellent written and oral communication skills
EDUCATION REQUIRMENT:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
Salary : $70,000 - $75,000
