Job Title: Electrical and Controls Engineer
The opportunity will have you teaming up with other engineers and designers involved in water and wastewater treatment plant electrical systems betterment and associated modifications, which will include the following:
- This position offers the opportunity to lead a design and constructability team.
- Act as a team lead in the coordination of detailed design phases for all aspects of engineering work.
- Lead efforts to ensure projects are completed successfully, on time, and within budget.
- Lead and coordinate design activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and client requirements.
- Review submittals and shop drawings, answer RFIs, issue clarifications, and review O&M manuals.
- Represent the interests of EIC Engineering in the construction progress meetings.
- Perform inspections, create record drawings, and assist with project start-up activities.
- Prepare reports and studies that present technical information to meet client requirements.
- Perform independent reviews of company designs including errors & omissions, and constructability.
Qualifications:
Essential skills and experience:
- A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
- Minimum three (3) years work experience in electrical engineering.
- Project management experience with leadership and mentoring skills.
- Knowledgeable and experienced in designing with NEC code.
- Extensive knowledge of motor control center engineering and design.
- Excellent ability to write electrical and instrumentation specifications.
- Excellent knowledge of P&IDs and instrumentation for water/wastewater facilities.
- Experience working with schematic drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Expert knowledge of single line diagrams for power distribution and short circuit calculations.
- Medium voltage power distribution and motor control.
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD, Xrefs, layers, and scales.

Pay: $90k – Negotiable depending on experience and qualifications
