Livestock Driver

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Livestock Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting livestock safely and efficiently between farms and processing facilities. The driver must adhere to all regulations regarding the transport of live animals, ensuring their welfare during transit.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Safely operate a livestock truck across various routes and ensure timely deliveries.
- Load and unload livestock in accordance with safety and welfare regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain proper documentation
- Monitor the health and condition of animals during transport and address any issues immediately.
- Follow all state and federal transportation regulations concerning the movement of livestock.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and rest periods in compliance with DOT regulations.

**Qualifications:**
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Experience in transporting livestock or in a similar role preferred.
- Knowledge of animal handling and welfare regulations.
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Capable of lifting heavy loads and working in a physically demanding environment.
- Must be flexible with work hours
