A Day in the Life
The Sr. Data Analytics Consultant is responsible for supporting clients senior management with accurate and timely information. Involved with many different BI processes including Snowflake, DBT, Power BI, Tableau, Azure Data Factory, Fabric, Python, AirFlow, SQL Server, Integration Services (SSIS), Reporting Services, Analysis Services and SQL. Leading projects with little to no support & supporting other team members effectively.
Take complex data requirements related to specific business problems, stage data, create facts and dimension tables, and build reports. Become an in-house expert on key business-operating metrics to support senior business leaders in quickly identifying issues and offering strategic recommendations on key programs.
- Lead analytics projects to successfully meet / exceed client requirements with minimal oversight & support
- Transforms raw data through applying business rules, auditing and staging data.
- Supports senior management with analysis needed to make important decisions.
- Helps identify KPIs for departments throughout the company.
- Ensures database administration functions are performed effectively and in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Builds ETL packages to extract data from multiple sources and load into data warehouse.
- Creates fact and dimension tables to support OLAP cubes & visualization tools.
- Develops visualizations that fit client business needs / requirements & best-practices
- Uses problem solving and creativity to apply appropriate metrics in the creation of compelling and thorough analyses.
- Develops key business operating metrics to help drive business accountability.
- Ensures timely and accurate performance on assigned projects.
- Maintains compliance with project budgets, turnaround times, and deadlines.
- Maintains proficiency in core analytics tools keeping skills relevant for EB clients needs. Widens existing skillsets quickly to enable supporting wider set of clients (learning agility). Leads certain skillsets (supports others including sales; recognized expert) and / or manages people.
- Self-starter / owner does not require managerial overhead & takes personal responsibility to get engaged on projects, recognize & handle problems, & proactively find / implement solutions. Work with others either as their manager or supporting them technically.
Who You Are
5 Years of data Modeling with Kimball Method (Star Schema).
Expert in Cloud Technologies such as : Snowflake, DBT, Databricks, Azure, Fabric, AWS, Python, Modeling data using Kimball Method (Star Schema), Analytical and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau, & Training data science / machine learning models Cloud technologies and services.
SQL language
Snowflake
Must be authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without visa sponsorship .

Compensation
Base salary range : $120,000 - $150,000
Our compensation philosophy emphasizes competitive and equitable pay. Eide Bailly complies with all local / state regulations regarding displaying ranges. Final compensation decisions are dependent upon factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and internal equity.
