Typical Day in the Life
A typical day as a Tax Senior Manager in Utah might include:
- Managing and reviewing high-level returns for clients in various industries.
- Working with clients and staff to ensure individual and business tax returns are completed correctly and by the required deadline.
- Reviewing, approving, and signing tax returns for release to clients.
- Couching or mentoring staff members to enhance their skills and develop their careers.
- Gathering relevant tax-related information from clients to prepare accurate tax returns.
- Examining tax situations from various angles to ensure maximum tax benefits are applied.
- Networking, building relationships, and attracting new clients or business for the Firm.
- Billing clients for services and guidance provided.
About You
You have experience with tax preparation and a strong understanding of tax regulations and policies.
You enjoy problem-solving and taking pride in helping others.
You are ready to lead a team of high-performing individuals and have knowledge of various industries and financial statements.
In addition, you hold an active CPA license and have 7 years of experience in public accounting tax work.
The estimated salary for this position is $110,000 - $140,000 per year.
