Systems Engineer - On-site

Eiden Systems Corporation is looking for a Systems Engineer to join our team in Charlottesville, VA. As the Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex systems that support our business operations. You will also be working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our systems. A Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) clearance is required for this role.

What you will be doing:

• Design and develop system architectures and configurations
• Implement and manage system integrations and upgrades
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
• Ensure system security and data integrity
• Collaborate with software developers, network engineers, and other stakeholders
• Document system configurations and procedures
• Provide technical support and training to end-users

Key Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a Systems Engineer, Software Developer, or Software Engineer role
• Expertise in Agile and SCRUM methodologies
• Hands-on experience in test-driven development and software design
• Strong understanding of system architecture, networking, and security
• Proficiency in operating systems such as Windows and Linux
• Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure
• Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to thrive both independently and within a team setting
• Must possess an active Top Secret/SCI clearance
• CompTIA Security CE certification required

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, etc.)
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.)

Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
