Water Mitigation Lead Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Water Technician to join our restoration team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in responding to water damage incidents, performing water remediation and restoring properties to their pre-damaged condition. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with hand and power tools in various environments. Ability to clearly communicate with both co-workers and customers is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assess water damage and assist in developing a scope of work.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform necessary repairs and restoration tasks.
• Extract carpets and other surfaces affected by water damage.
• Collaborate with team members to build effective restoration plans tailored to each unique situation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the restoration process.
• Communicate with clients regarding the progress of restoration efforts and any additional needs.

Requirements

• Experience in the restoration industry is required, particularly in water damage restoration. Successful IICRC training a plus.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and water restoration equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess situations quickly.
• Attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
• A valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites.

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
