Senior Data Engineer

Join our dynamic team as a Senior Data Engineer and lead the way in designing and implementing cutting-edge data pipelines for Business Intelligence (BI) and reporting. We are looking for an individual who is not only passionate about data but also skilled in translating complex data into actionable insights for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement efficient and scalable data pipelines for BI and reporting purposes
• Define and govern key business metrics, build automated dashboards and analytic self-service capabilities, and engineer data-driven processes that drive business value
• Thoroughly understand data structures and write comprehensive technical documentation to outline solutions and architectures.
• Lead requirements gathering, solution design, and implementation phases for data projects.
• Design, develop and maintain ETL Frameworks for large real-world data (RWD) assets
• Mentor and guide technical teams, fostering a culture of innovation.
• Proficiency towards learning new technologies and solving complex proble
  
  

Skills To Be Successful

• Experience with big data technologies such as: Hadoop, Hive, Spark, EMR
• Experience with data visualization using Tableau, PowerBI, Quicksight, or similar tools
• Understanding how to integrate and manipulate APIs for data extraction and manipulation
• Working knowledge of Snowflake as a data warehousing solution
• Experience with tools like Alteryx, Matillion, indicating a broad exposure to ETL processes and tools
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience in project management tools (e.g., Jira)
  
  

a Qualified Candidate Will Have

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 4 years of SQL experience
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
• Experience in at least one modern scripting or programming language, such as Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business need
