About the Role:
The Sr. Functional Consultant is a Functional Implementation Consultant and expert in their domain. As a Functional Consultant, you will provide strategic leadership and guidance to enterprise customers throughout the implementation of the Eightfold Talent Intelligence platform. You will leverage your deep understanding of customer business needs to translate those into actionable solutions, ensuring successful outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead enterprise customers through complex platform implementations, ensuring alignment with best practices and business objectives.
- Gain a thorough understanding of customer business challenges, use cases, and objectives, and apply this knowledge to configure Eightfold solutions that deliver measurable results.
- Demonstrate the value of the Eightfold Talent Intelligence platform to address specific customer challenges and optimize talent management processes.
- Facilitate requirements gathering and design sessions, ensuring comprehensive documentation and alignment with customer needs and business processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to configure the Eightfold platform according to customer requirements, project scope, and best practices.
- Conduct QA testing to validate platform configurations, ensuring functionality and accuracy.
- Develop a data migration strategy with Technical Consultants to ensure its successful execution.
- Provide expert guidance and support to Eightfold partners and customers throughout the implementation process.
- Manage and prioritize the execution of multiple implementations to a project plan and communicate project progress through regular status updates to the Engagement Manager.
- Build relationships and partner with internal teams such as Product, Engineering and Solution Architects. Ensure continuous review and improvement of the methodology and delivery best practices - encouraging innovation in technology and process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology, Engineering or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in functional consulting, professional services, and/or project management preferably for SaaS/PaaS solutions.
- Proven experience in implementing enterprise software solutions, with a focus on talent management, HR technology, or similar platforms.
- Proven experience in defining business requirements, leading design discussions and scoping level of effort for project work.
- Expertise in HR practices is a plus.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple implementations simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and engage with stakeholders at all levels. Knowledge of HR practices, the Eightfold Talent Intelligence platform or similar HR-tech platforms is a plus.

The base salary ranges below are provided for pay transparency. Base pay is only one component of our total compensation package, as this role may also be eligible for bonuses and equity awards. Compensation varies depending on several factors, including qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.
- Zone A (Bay Area, CA & New York City, NY): $133,000 to $177,000
- Zone B (Chicago, IL Atlanta, GA): $113,000 to $160,000
