About The Role
We are seeking a Head of Public Sector Sales to strategically drive partnerships and new markets in the public sector. This experienced individual will spearhead developing and executing strategies to expand Eightfold's presence by capitalizing on strategic partnerships and SaaS solutions.
Your Day To Day (Responsibilities)
- Meet or exceed strategic sales objectives and build new revenue pipelines in public sector sales.
- Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy within public sector and state organizations.
- Lead strategic initiatives with SaaS based solutions catering to federal and state local government sales.
- Engage with C-level and government agency executives for relationship building and negotiation.
- Mentor sales teams in consultative solution selling and public sector management excellence.
- Collaborate with strategic partners to develop comprehensive sales solutions.
- Monitor market trends in cloud computing and SaaS to ensure a competitive edge.
- Deliver presentations and public speaking engagements to promote Eightfold's thought leadership in public sector industries.
- 5-15 years of experience in sales with specific experience in public sector sales, SaaS, and cloud computing solutions.
- Strong strategic partnerships and go-to-market strategy capabilities.
- Executive presentation skills and thought leadership in the software industry.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in relevant fields.
- Demonstrated success in strategic partnerships and business development within SaaS platforms.
- Experience with cloud computing in public, state, and local government sectors.
- Ability to influence executive-level negotiations and decision-making processes.
- Proficiency in professional services and consultative solution selling.
