What are the responsibilities and job description for the PipeFitter Mechanics & Helpers position at Eightfold?
We are a leading pipefitting company, specializing in HVAC and base building piping needs, and we are seeking a dedicated, knowledgeable, and strong individual (who is able to lift heavy equipment/material), to join our team.
Responsibilities:
-Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and other machinery.
- Load, unload, and transport heavy equipment and materials to designated areas.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate workflow and optimize productivity.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, materials handled, and maintenance logs.
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications accurately.
- Proficient in welding techniques (e.g., soldering) used in pipefitting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally.
Requirements:
- Valid F60 & G60
- SST Card
- OSHA 30 Certification
- Valid Social Security Card
- Knowlege in reading blueprints
Weekend and Evening Availability Required***
