About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to drive our sales and merchandising efforts. This pivotal role will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building strong relationships with key accounts, and overseeing the development and execution of merchandising strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
- Lead and motivate the existing sales team to exceed targets and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including buyers and decision-makers at major off-price retailers.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our market reach.
- Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with retailers to maximize profitability.
- Understand basic budgeting, forecasting and pricing strategies to collaborate with finance department.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in fashion merchandising, business, marketing, or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in sales and merchandising, including in mass market and off-price channel in apparel-related industry. A Must.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong customer relationships.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and sales management software.
- A passion for fashion and a keen eye for trends.
