Job Description :
IMPORTANT : Experience with gas or steam powered turbines is a hard requirement.
The Senior Repair Engineer will work with a specialized engineering team that develops, repairs, and establishes processes for large, heavy-frame industrial gas turbines.
Key Functions :
- Develop cost-effective repair processes and procedures to maximize customer value and quality.
- Execute hands-on new repair processes and oversee pilot lot component repairs through the repair shop.
- Evaluate customer-specific repair requests and formulate a repair plan.
- Optimize, improve, and enhance existing inspection and repair processes.
- Assess repair quality issues through the NCR process and develop preventative solutions.
- Identify new equipment and repair tooling needs for various product lines.
- Utilize advanced drafting / CAD skills to create and modify component layouts.
