What are the responsibilities and job description for the Truck Driver position at EIMCo?
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Load and unload materials from vehicles
- Complete inventory of all incoming and outgoing items to verify accuracy
- Maintain all documents and certifications as required by the Department of Transportation
- Comply with DOT, OSHA, state, and federal driving and safety regulations
- Perform required preventative maintenance on all equipment as needed
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
- Various tasks throughout the warehouse
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Class A CDL required
- 1-2 years of driving experience
- A willingness to learn and be trained on the EIMCo manufacturing processes
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving and attention to detail skills
- The ability to multitask on a wide variety of projects
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to routinely climb stairs, ladders, or platforms
- Ability to routinely twist, bend, stoop, and squat
- Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to repetitively reach and grasp
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
A high school diploma or GED with at least 1-2 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment preferred. Formal education may be substituted with experience and training when competency in the position is demonstrated. Class A CDL is required.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
This work is performed in a manufacturing setting with moderate to high levels of noise due to machinery and equipment processes. The temperature of the facility will vary based on the outside weather conditions. This position requires the use of personal protective equipment for safety compliance and may include overtime as deemed necessary by management.
