About the Role:
Einstein Tutoring is currently seeking a compassionate and experienced tutor to support a medically fragile student in Mountain View, CA. This is a part-time, in-person role that requires a candidate with a background in special education and familiarity with individualized education programs (IEPs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one academic tutoring aligned with the student’s IEP goals
- Support the student in core academic subjects while adapting instruction to their unique learning needs
- Modify and personalize lessons based on IEP accommodations and medical considerations
- Maintain regular communication with the family and school team regarding student progress
- Create a supportive, safe, and engaging learning environment
Required Qualifications:
- Experience working with students in special education settings
- Familiarity with medically fragile students and their learning needs
- Understanding of IEPs, including implementation of academic goals and accommodations
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Must be able to commute to Mountain View, CA for in-person sessions
Schedule & Compensation:
- Part-time; hours coordinated with family availability
- Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience
