Overview
Einstein Tutoring is seeking dedicated and credentialed Special Education Tutors to provide in-home tutoring for students with diverse learning needs, including those who are medically fragile. Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one, in-home tutoring tailored to each student’s learning needs.
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.
- Work with students who have developmental disabilities, visual impairments, and medical fragility.
- Utilize behavioral management strategies to create a supportive and engaging learning environment.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure consistent student progress.
- Incorporate therapeutic strategies, such as speech therapy and recreational therapy, into instruction when applicable.
- Track and report on student progress, making instructional adjustments as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
- Must be a credentialed teacher in California with special education certification.
- Experience working with students with disabilities, particularly those who are medically fragile.
- Knowledge of IEPs, behavioral health strategies, and differentiated instruction techniques.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents and educators.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to support students with various disabilities.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently while maintaining high teaching standards.

Pay: $40.00 - $65.00 per hour
