Are you an Orton-Gillingham Certified Tutor passionate about literacy education? Einstein Tutoring is looking for a dedicated tutor available during school hours to support students in their academic growth.
About the Role
As a tutor, you will provide personalized instruction to students, fostering their confidence and academic success. You will develop engaging lesson plans and utilize learning technology to enhance the tutoring experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop individualized lesson plans tailored to students’ needs
- Provide instruction in English, literacy, and (optionally) Mandarin
- Use learning technology to enhance engagement
- Monitor progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed
- Create a supportive, encouraging learning environment
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and educators
Qualifications & Experience
- Orton-Gillingham Certification required
- Experience working with children in an educational setting
- Strong lesson planning and instructional skills
- Experience using learning technology preferred
- Mandarin proficiency is a plus but not required
- Background in classroom management is beneficial
