Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Implement individualized educational and behavioral programs designed to meet students’ specific needs.
- Provide one-on-one tutoring and support for students with special needs.
- Foster a supportive and structured learning environment, both in-person and virtually.
- Assist in curriculum development and lesson planning to tailor instruction to students’ unique requirements.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting approaches as necessary.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for each student.
Qualifications
- Experience working with students in a special education setting is required.
- Strong understanding of childhood development and educational strategies.
- Familiarity with IEPs (Individualized Education Plans) and accommodations for students with special needs.
- Ability to provide engaging and effective instruction in various subjects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster strong relationships with students and their families.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students reach their full potential.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
