Job Overview
Einstein Tutoring LLC is seeking dedicated tutors to join our team, specifically to support students with special needs, including those who are physically handicapped. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students who require additional support due to diverse learning needs, and a passion for helping these students achieve academic success in both home and hospital settings.
Duties
- Provide individualized academic support tailored to the needs of special needs students, including those with physical disabilities.
- Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapting lessons to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Offer one-on-one or small group instruction in literacy, math, and other core subjects as needed.
- Support students with classroom management, behavior strategies, and positive reinforcement.
- Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students, ensuring their educational needs are met with patience and care.
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and healthcare professionals to ensure holistic support for the student.
Requirements
- Experience working with special needs students, particularly those with physical handicaps or other learning disabilities.
- Familiarity with IEPs and individualized learning strategies.
- Background in special education, early childhood education, or working with individuals with autism or other developmental challenges is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and adapt to the needs of students in a flexible learning environment.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $60.00 per hour
