Special Education Paraprofessional

About the Role:

Einstein Tutoring is currently seeking a compassionate and experienced tutor to support a medically fragile student in Mountain View, CA. This is a part-time, in-person role that requires a candidate with a background in special education and familiarity with individualized education programs (IEPs).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one academic tutoring aligned with the student’s IEP goals
• Support the student in core academic subjects while adapting instruction to their unique learning needs
• Modify and personalize lessons based on IEP accommodations and medical considerations
• Maintain regular communication with the family and school team regarding student progress
• Create a supportive, safe, and engaging learning environment

Required Qualifications:

• Experience working with students in special education settings
• Familiarity with medically fragile students and their learning needs
• Understanding of IEPs, including implementation of academic goals and accommodations
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Must be able to commute to Mountain View, CA for in-person sessions

Schedule & Compensation:

• Part-time; hours coordinated with family availability
• Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $75.00 per hour
