Job Opportunity – In-Person High School Chemistry Tutor (Spanish-Speaking Required)

Einstein Tutoring is seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Chemistry Tutor to join our team. This position requires in-person tutoring in Cambridge, and fluency in Spanish is a strict requirement—applicants who do not speak Spanish will not be considered.
We are looking for someone with a strong background in chemistry who can engage and support high school students in mastering the subject. The ideal candidate is a confident communicator in both English and Spanish, has experience working with adolescents, and is capable of fostering academic growth in a one-on-one setting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide in-person tutoring in high school-level Chemistry, ensuring students understand and retain key concepts
- Tailor instruction to meet the student’s academic needs and learning style
- Communicate in Spanish to support the student’s comprehension and comfort during sessions
- Assist with test preparation, homework help, and skill development
- Track student progress and communicate regularly with Einstein Tutoring’s admin team
- Maintain a positive, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment
- Follow any relevant curriculum guidance provided by the student’s school
Qualifications:
- Fluency in Spanish (required)
- Strong knowledge of high school Chemistry
- Experience tutoring or teaching high school students, preferably in person
- Ability to develop personalized, engaging lessons based on student needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable and professional, with a passion for helping students succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; experience may substitute
