Direct Support Professional

We are currently looking for a strong, caring and patient DSP for a young man with developmental disabilities. This individual lives in his own home with his family. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of behavior management techniques as well as being patient with OCD tendencies.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assist with daily chores
- Assistance with laundry
- Interact and Motivate Individual
Interests:
- Art
- Creating and listening to music
- Going for a ride in the car to Mc Donald's
- Playing Roblox/video games
- Disney/cartoon Characters
- Watching music videos
Requirements:
- You must be willing to have a drug screen and fingerprinting background check.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for transportation.
- Training will be provided
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities for at least a year is a requirement.
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
Work Location: In person

Rate of Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 per week
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
