Purpose of the Position
Responsible for optimizing business processes, driving efficiency, and delivering measurable improvements across the Company. Orchestrates and spearheads process improvement initiatives across the organization. Fills gaps in various business units as needs to provide targeted support and drive operation excellence.
Essential Position Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of company-wide process improvement initiatives, driving operational efficiency and enhancing business outcomes.
- Identify and implement best practices, methodologies, and technologies to streamline workflows and optimize business performance.
- Work collaboratively with senior leadership teams to understand business challenges and opportunities.
- Provide hands-on support for operational improvements across different departments and functions, ensuring the successful adoption of process changes.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, leading change management efforts and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation of new processes and strategies.
- Leverage data and metrics to identify areas for improvement, track progress, and measure the impact of process changes. Present data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Oversee key operational projects from concept through execution, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and resources are managed effectively to meet business goals.
- Mentor and develop junior operations team members, providing guidance on process improvement methods and best practices.
- As business needs evolve, provide hands-on operational support for various business units. Act as a resource to "parachute" into departments to address urgent operational challenges and implement improvements as needed.
Physical activities : Typing on a keyboard; reading and verifying data, often in small print; sitting for up to 8 hours per day; talking on phone; may require visits to job sites resulting in exposure to hazards typical of a construction site
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) : Occasional utilization of steel-toed boots, gloves, safety vests, hard hat at site visits.

Travel : 50%
Minimum Education : Bachelor's degree in business administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field. At least 8 years of progressive experience in operations management, process improvement, and project management.
Preferred Skill Set : Strong background in process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.). Proven ability to manage complex operational projects and drive measurable improvements. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make strategic decisions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. Experience in change management and successfully driving transformation in a corporate environment. Ability to quickly assess and adapt to different business environments and provide operational support as needed.
