Corporate Advocacy Coordinator
The Corporate Advocacy Coordinator is an essential role needed to ensure the department runs smoothly and efficiently. The position reports to the Associate Director, Corporate Advocacy and provides required operational and administrative support for the oncology and neurology teams. This role reinforces Eisai's business objectives and allows us to further ourhhcmission through support of the patient advocacy community.
Summary of Job Responsibilities:
Advocacy Support (40%)
- Manage timeline of events for internal and external Advocacy events and engagements
- Organize and coordinate the distribution of Advocacy event materials
- Develop and maintain a monthly Advocacy and hhc calendar and status report
- Attend community events to represent corporate advocacy as needed
- Work in a collaborative manner with other functions within Corporate Affairs; including Communications (both internal and external), Government Affairs & Policy, and the Eisai USA Foundation
Volunteer Support (15%)
- Support the hhc administration team on internal hhc/advocacy activities
Administrative Support (45)%
- Provide administrative assistance to the Corporate Advocacy team
- Manage processing and payment of sponsorships to advocacy partners
- Utilize Veeva system for sponsorship reporting and tracking
- Process invoices, purchase orders, and payments to external stakeholders
- Coordinate multiple calendars and arrange internal and external meetings
- Manage arrangements for national and international travel
- Process and manage expense reports
Requirements
- 1-3 years' experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology or healthcare industry preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of commercial operations functions and processes in pharmaceutical/biotechnology or healthcare industry
- Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional and highly collaborative environment.
- Strong interpersonal, management and communication skills; ability to articulate ideas in a cross-functional setting
- Demonstrated passion for supporting the patient community
