What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network Administrator Level II position at EISCANDIDATEPORTAL?
Eagle Integrated Services, LLC is hiring for a Network Adminisitrator Level II to support our ongoing mission for Joint Base San Antonio.
The Network Administrator shall provide Senior Engineering support DHA J6 and support all system components. Where applicable, and in direct coordination with and the oversight of DHA Enterprise Support groups, the Network Administrator shall provide on-site Local LAN Support for PEO MS/CIO, J-6 and MHS IT support system components. The Network Administrator shall provide the following support requirements.
Deploy and sustain new or existing information networks, such as local area networks (LAN), Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, and other communications networks. Administers day-to-day sustainment, integrity, security and availability of the network
Perform daily performance monitoring, capacity analysis, and maintain security posture of the network
Assist architecture and engineering with evaluation, making recommendations and testing of network hardware and software products
Creates standard operating procedures, maintenance guides, and knowledge base articles, as required, to ensure proper documentation is established for the operational upkeep of the network
Performs network infrastructure maintenance upgrades to ensure a proper security and operational posture is maintained
Provide necessary on-site IT support or system administration for all servers, network equipment, operating systems, and applications on the supported networks at all sites
Provide other network support as appropriate and needed.
This position is pending a background check for National Agency Check (NAC)/ Tier 1 or position of trust suitability in support of your primary duty assignment onsite.
Certification requirements to meet IAT II, (Sec and Computing Environment). Education requirements are a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
