Eagle Integrated Services, LLC (EIS) is seeking a Radiofrequency/Electronics Engineer/Laboratory Technician specializing in equipment operation and data analysis for radiofrequency pulsers and electronic systems to support the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Chemical Defense (USAMRICD).
Position Responsibilities:
Assist in the development of research protocols, amendments, and experimental design; conduct research in accordance with all safety, surety, security standards, IACUC policies and governing SOPs.
Assist in implementing and conducting experimental investigations of acute non-kinetic injuries in collaboration with the PI.
Assist with implementation of new technologies within the laboratory relevant to the research areas of interest.
Draft technical reports, manuscripts, proposals, and other written work, as needed.
Maintain records (hard copy and electronic), compile data, and requests necessary supplies, as required to meet the government’s needs.
Prepare and present presentations and written documentation summarizing efforts in Government Format.
Oversee collection and storage of experimental data in compliance with the Security Classification Guide (SCG) relevant to the research areas of interest.
Provide expertise in the technical aspects of RF safety, RF biomechanical or electromagnetic modeling, and RF pulser/electronic system operations.
Performs literature searches as required to provide necessary background information and utilizes reference management software.
Education/Experience:
Master of Science from an accredited university/college in an engineering or similar field.
Minimum Experience/ Training Requirements:
Knowledge of RF pulser technologies and their medical applications
Experience conducting laboratory experiments
Experience maintaining data sets and complying with applicable regulatory entities
Ability to conduct mechanical and/or electromagnetic modeling of RF waveform interactions with biology, or the ability to interpret and assess those models
Ability to use statistical software for analyses and generating figures for diverse (and sometimes nontechnical) audiences
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent adaptability to new research team/project assignment per organizational needs
Comfortable working around animals (multiple species) and ongoing biomedical research
Background/Security:
Must be a U.S. Citizen
An active DoD Interim SECRET Security Clearance is required
