Eagle Integrated Services, LLC is hiring for a Systems Administrator to support our ongoing mission for Joint Base San Antonio
The System Administrator will provide system and application management performing the following activities:
Manage and troubleshoot new or existing server operating systems for related infrastructure software and hardware
Administer day-to-day sustainment, integrity, security and availability of systems and applications
Execute capacity analysis, maintain security posture of GSP infrastructure systems, and monitor performance
Create standard operating procedures, maintenance guides, and knowledge base articles, as necessary to ensure proper documentation is established for the operational upkeep of the systems and applications
Perform platform maintenance upgrades to ensure a proper security and operational posture is maintained
Assist architecture and engineering with evaluation, making recommendations and testing of infrastructure hardware and software products
Provide support for Virtual Machines (VM) which includes power on/off VMs, as well as snapshot/remove snapshots from VMs
Execute Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) compliance
Create, deploy, and report Group Policy Objects (GPO)
Provide Patch Management including, Server and Workstation OS upgrade/update current version
Server and workstation application (Med365/M365, Adobe, Java, etc.) upgrade/update (testing and deploying)
Testing and troubleshooting new images
Serve as problem management providing workarounds and determining root cause analysis related to any patching and vulnerability management
Provide Support for management tools such as Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager
Support End User Devices (EUD) and servers, for System Back-Up and Restoration: The candidate shall work with DHA Enterprise Support staff, for systems backup and restoration operations and to assist with developing, maintaining, and employing documented Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs) for all backup, restoration, and system replication operations that are consistent with ITIL and industry IT best practices that meet all approved application/system owner requirements and recommendations
Implement processes to provide support and assistance to ensure system and infrastructure backups are completed, when scheduled, as required
Follow Enterprise directives and procedures to periodically test backup and restore operations procedures where applicable
Aid with documenting all backup and restoration operations in logs to allow for auditing of the activity
Assist with and make recommendations to the Government to improve processes, tools, and/or procedures that will improve backup efficiency and reliability
Assist with the coordination of appropriate Government activity or agency in the resolution of any issues with backup/restore processes
Ensure all backups and other removable media are encrypted in accordance with Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) or other DoD/Federal requirements; all backups and other removable media shall be properly labeled and properly stored in fire-resistant vaults for operational back-ups (on-site storage) and historical backups (off-site storage) in accordance with DHA Enterprise policies directives and procedures
Qualifications:
This position is pending a background check for National Agency Check (NAC)/ Tier 1 or position of trust suitability in support of your primary duty assignment onsite.
Certification requirements to meet IAT II, (Sec and Computing Environment). Education requirements are a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Salary : $85,000 - $130,000
