Eisenberg & Baum, LLP, recognized for securing landmark victories in disability rights cases nationwide, seeks a dedicated Litigation Attorney to join our pioneering Deaf Discrimination / Disability Rights Practice. This role offers the chance to make a substantial impact and gain unique experience in a challenging and rewarding field, working in federal district and appellate courts nationwide.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Representing clients in a variety of disability rights cases, mainly focusing on equal access and discrimination.
  • Handling case files from inception through resolution, including drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Conducting in-depth legal research and analysis on complex disability law issues.
  • Participating in all aspects of discovery, including drafting requests and responses and managing depositions.
  • Advocating for clients in court and negotiation settings.
  • Collaborating with senior attorneys on strategy development for case management and litigation.
  • Managing a high volume of cases with a commitment to maintaining quality and attention to detail.

Essential Qualifications :

  • J.D. from an accredited law school with a solid academic record.
  • Active bar admission in the United States.
  • Demonstrated passion for disability rights and social justice.
  • Exceptional research and writing skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts effectively.
  • Proven ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Quick learning abilities and adaptability to new challenges.
  • Law Review / Judicial Clerkship experience is highly valued.
  • Experience in federal litigation, particularly within disability law, is highly beneficial.
