Job Title: Financial/Athletic Secretary

Location: Eisenhower Middle School.
Salary:
- $13.50/hour.
Hours Per Day:
- Early Learning: 8:40-3:40
- Elementary hours: 8:40-3:40
- Secondary hours: 7:40-2:50
- Times may vary depending on the building assignment
- Flexible hours depending on availability
- Average workday = 7.5 hours
- Days Per Year: Position available during the regular school year. 10-month contract. Follows the 216 Day Secondary Office Professional Calendar

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Strong conceptual, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Good working knowledge of productivity tools and keyboarding skills.
- Strong working knowledge of updated Microsoft based programs.
- Detail oriented - High level of accuracy and attention to detail in budget management and financial record-keeping.
- Budget Management Skills - Ability to track and report on budget expenditures, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
- Ability to interact with the public courteously and work harmoniously with colleagues.
- Ability to make responsible decisions in accordance with established policies and regulations promptly.
- All USD 383 employees must pass a background check.
Reports To:
- Building principal and Athletic Director.
- Performance will be evaluated annually in accordance with the Board of Education’s policy on evaluation of classified personnel.
Job Duties:
- Greet visitors and volunteers while maintaining school safety.
- Accounting and Financial reporting
- Compliance and adhere to relevant financial regulations and guidelines
- Inventory management of all necessary resources for building and athletics
- Verify athletes are compliant with KSHSAA
- Help coordinate athletic activities and schedules
- Prepare all transportation requests for activities and athletics
- Prepare requests for Purchase Orders and follow through with the order until received.
- Attend classes/training/office professional meetings needed to keep informed of district resources and guidelines.
- Manage substitute requests and scheduling.
- Any additional duties assigned by the supervisor.
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt.
