Responsibilities
This role requires collaboration with the tax service line and tax transformation team to enable complete understanding of business requirements and effective testing and implementation of technology solutions.
Key responsibilities include setting and meeting expectations with stakeholders for delivery of new capabilities, features, and functionalities, as well as planning and strategizing methods to test and evaluate newly delivered features.
Providing regular reports on status of testing to leadership and collaborating with tax and transformation teams to identify metrics measuring the efficiency and effectiveness of new technologies are also critical aspects of this role.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline is required.
At least 7 years of experience in tax technology or tax compliance, including 3 years of supervisory responsibilities, is necessary.
Prior public accounting experience with a mid-to-large size firm or other professional services experience is highly valued.
Additional Requirements
Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders concurrently is essential, as is proven leadership skills with experience working in a high-ambiguity environment.
Demonstrated experience operating in an unstructured and collaborative environment, as well as a strong understanding of tax department processes and software tools, are also desirable qualifications.
