About the Role
We are seeking a Techno Sales Leader to drive banking, payments, and digital banking transformation through platform implementation and services. This role is ideal for a sales leader with a strong technology background and expertise in banking platforms, payment solutions, FinTech ecosystems, and digital transformation . You will be responsible for driving new business, managing key financial institution relationships, and accelerating growth through consultative and value-driven sales strategies.
Key Qualifications & Skills
- 15 years of experience in banking technology, payments, digital banking, or FinTech sales .
- Proven success in selling banking platforms, digital payments, core banking transformations, or open banking solutions .
- Strong knowledge of digital lending, wealth tech, regtech, embedded finance, and neobanking models .
- Ability to engage in C-level discussions and drive enterprise sales.
- Expertise in deal structuring, RFPs, pricing models, and banking regulatory compliance .
- Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills .
- Ability to work with pre-sales, delivery, and technical teams to create tailored solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with global banks, payment networks (Visa, Mastercard, SWIFT), and FinTech companies .Familiarity with banking regulations, PSD2, ISO 20022, instant payments, and digital wallets .Prior experience in digital transformation, cloud-based banking solutions, or SaaS sales .Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Drive sales and business growth for banking and financial technology solutions.Identify opportunities in retail banking, corporate banking, payments, lending, and wealth management .Establish and nurture relationships with C-level executives (CIOs, CTOs, Heads of Payments, Digital Banking Leaders, etc.) in banks and FinTech firms.Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for platform adoption in banking, payments, and digital banking sectors.Manage end-to-end sales cycles , from lead generation and solutioning to deal closure.Technology & Industry Expertise
Deep understanding of core banking systems, digital banking platforms, payment gateways, API banking, open banking, and regulatory frameworks .Knowledge of cloud-native banking, AI-driven banking solutions, blockchain, and embedded finance .Expertise in digital payments, real-time payments (RTP), cross-border payments, and next-gen payment rails .Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and evolving FinTech innovations .Customer & Account Management
Act as a trusted advisor to banking clients, understanding their digital transformation needs.Drive customer success, solution adoption, and long-term partnerships .Identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.Solutioning & Pre-Sales
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align solutions with customer needs.Lead product demonstrations, POCs, and technical discussions with banking clients.Create compelling proposals, RFP responses, and business cases for banking institutions and FinTech firms.Revenue & Growth Ownership
Own and achieve revenue targets and growth goals in banking and payments.Develop strategic alliances with FinTech companies, payment processors, and banking solution providers .Drive partnerships with financial institutions, payment networks, and embedded finance players .
