Job Summary :
The State Farm Agent Intern will assist the State Farm agent and team in various tasks related to insurance sales, customer service, and business operations. This role provides an opportunity to learn about the insurance industry, develop professional skills, and gain practical experience. The intern will participate in training programs and work closely with the agent to understand the business and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities :
Assist in generating insurance quotes and preparing proposals for clients.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues.
Assist in executing marketing campaigns and outreach efforts to attract new clients.
Perform general office duties, including filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
Participate in training programs and workshops to gain knowledge about insurance products and services.
High school diploma or equivalent required; currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field preferred.
Willingness to study for and obtain necessary state insurance licenses during the internship.
Previous experience in customer service, sales, or administrative roles is a plus but not required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Motivated and eager to learn about the insurance industry.
