SUMMARY
Responsible for programing all CNC machines, trouble shooting, continuous improvement, training for operators and fixture design and builds.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Programs multiple machines using Gibbs Cam, Line Cam, and general M/G code.
- Creates and updates set up sheets and required visuals.
- CNC setup and trouble shooting.
- Insert/tooling trials and evaluation with Leader/Supervisor.
- Conducts time studies and production evaluation and improvement.
- Promotes the culture, the mission and vision, and the core values of the company. This includes adherence to and promotion of the company safety beliefs, employee engagement, competencies, code of conduct, and other policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED required, associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred; and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have experience programing CNC machines (Doosan, Mazak, and Haas mills and lathes), trouble shooting and simple fixture design.
- Must have experience with Blueprint reading, G-Code Reading, and perform quality auditing and checking.
- Experience with Calipers, Micrometers, tape measure and other quality measurement tools
- Other attributes should include Self- directed requiring minimal supervision, sense of urgency, and attention to detail.
