Summary
We are seeking an Operator to join our team at EJOT ATF. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and setting-up cold heading machines, maintain tools, and making quality parts.
Position Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain and set-up various size cold headers
- Check lube oil in machine
- Check tooling before starting machine
- Insure steel size is correct
- Retrieve all necessary tooling & paperwork for set-up and start set-up
- Check for proper gauges
- Take gages to Quality and get gages for new job
- First pieces to Quality for all set-ups
- Keep work area and benches clean and insure old job is back in crib
- Perform inspection of parts
- Insure machine is ready for the next shift to run
- Follow all safety rules and practices
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor/floor leader
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to communicate and work well with others
- Ability to complete set-up
Education and Experience
- High School diploma or the equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 8 years machine experience
