The Electrical YA will work alongside our licensed electricians, learning the entire process from start to finish.
Under direct supervision of a mentor, you will assist the Electrical department by performing the following duties:
- Studies blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the electrical components to install and the assembly sequence.
- Assembles and installs wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery and equipment.
- Bends and installs conduit.
- Assembles functional parts of enclosures and tanks using hand tools, levels and straight edges.
- Follows work instructions from general description. Confers with supervisor or others to resolve assembly problems.
- Cleans and organizes work area.
Education
