Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Ultrasonographer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations, utilizing advanced imaging techniques to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires a thorough understanding of medical terminology, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation, particularly in a trauma center setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients, ensuring high-quality images for interpretation by physicians.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to assess patient needs and prepare them for procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of ultrasound findings.
• Monitor and evaluate vital signs during procedures to ensure patient safety.
• Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols during examinations.
• Assist in cardiac catheterization procedures as needed, providing support to the cardiology team.
• Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices within a Level I or Level II Trauma Center environment.

Qualifications

• Certification as an Ultrasonographer with relevant credentials from an accredited organization.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and physiology related to diagnostic imaging.
• Experience in telemetry monitoring and understanding of cardiac conditions is preferred.
• Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation techniques and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced trauma center setting.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Pay: $72.00 - $80.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
