Job Overview
The Sterile Processing Technician plays a vital role in the healthcare team by ensuring that all surgical instruments and medical equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, and maintained. Duties

• Clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment according to established protocols.
• Inspect instruments for cleanliness and functionality before use.
• Maintain accurate inventory records of sterile supplies and equipment.
• Prepare and package instruments for sterilization using appropriate techniques.
• Adhere to aseptic techniques during all procedures to prevent contamination.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments for surgeries and procedures.
• Stay updated on medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and sterile processing standards.
