Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Nurse to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established protocols and standards.
- Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and implement nursing interventions for patients across various settings.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure comprehensive treatment plans.
- Utilize electronic health record systems, including Epic, for accurate documentation and patient tracking.
- Monitor patients’ conditions, administer medications, and provide education on health management.
- Maintain compliance with infection control policies and procedures to safeguard patient health.
- Assist in diagnostic procedures such as sonography when necessary.
- Engage with patients with developmental disabilities, providing tailored support to meet their unique needs.
- Stay current with ICD-9 coding practices for accurate billing and documentation.
Qualifications
- Valid nursing license in the state of practice.
- Experience in home care or primary care settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with clinical systems and electronic health records (EHR), particularly Epic.
- Knowledge of infection control practices and protocols is essential.
- Experience working in emergency room (ER) settings is a plus.
- Ability to perform sonography or willingness to learn is desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate approach towards patients, especially those with developmental disabilities.
