Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans and ensuring patient safety during imaging procedures. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as proficiency in medical imaging techniques. The CT Technologist will work in a fast-paced environment, including Level I and Level II Trauma Centers, providing critical diagnostic evaluations to assist in patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans and X-rays, ensuring high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
- Maintain aseptic technique and adhere to safety protocols to ensure patient safety during procedures.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic evaluations.
- Monitor patients during imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and functionality, reporting any malfunctions or issues promptly.
- Stay current with advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques, including mammography when applicable.
Experience
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology is essential for accurate imaging.
- Previous experience in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation techniques and medical imaging practices is required.
- Proficiency in operating CT machines and understanding imaging protocols is essential.
- Experience with aseptic techniques and patient care in a clinical setting is highly desirable.
