Dialysis RN

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse - Dialysis to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide exceptional nursing care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care in a clinic setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in internal medicine and a strong understanding of dialysis procedures.

Duties

• Perform dialysis treatments on patients, ensuring adherence to established protocols and standards.
• Assess patient conditions before, during, and after dialysis sessions to monitor vital signs and overall health.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop individualized care plans based on patient needs.
• Administer IV infusions and medications as prescribed by physicians.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment options and self-care strategies.
• Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems such as Epic.
• Participate in case management activities to coordinate care for patients with complex medical needs.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and infection control practices within the clinic.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Experience in dialysis or acute care nursing preferred.
• Knowledge of internal medicine principles and practices.
• Ability to work effectively with patients who have disabilities or special needs.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly Epic, is a plus.
• Commitment to providing compassionate care and maintaining high standards of nursing practice.

Pay: $54.29 - $67.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
