We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Emergency Room team. Responsibilities
- Assess and triage patients based on their medical needs and urgency of care.
- Administer IV infusions and medications as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Provide comprehensive nursing care, including wound management and administering injections.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct discharge planning to ensure continuity of care post-hospitalization.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes within the Emergency Room setting.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Previous experience in an Emergency Room or critical care setting preferred.
- Proficiency in IV infusion techniques and experience administering injections.
- Knowledge of MDS (Minimum Data Set) assessments is a plus.
- Familiarity with hospital medicine practices and discharge planning processes.
- Experience working within a Level I Trauma Center is highly desirable.
- Understanding of Workers Compensation law is beneficial but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Pay: $66.93 - $72.00 per hour
