We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency medicine and be capable of providing high-quality care to patients in critical situations. Responsibilities
- Provide immediate care to patients presenting with acute medical conditions or injuries.
- Perform gastric lavage and other emergency procedures as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' conditions and document medical records accurately.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Assist with ostomy care and manage long-term care needs for patients when necessary.
- Phlebotomize patients for laboratory testing as required.
- Participate in case management activities to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain a safe and sterile environment in the Emergency Room.
Experience
- Previous experience in an Emergency Room setting is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) protocols is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of hospital systems and emergency medicine practices.
- Experience with medical records management and documentation standards is essential.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a compassionate approach to patient care.
