Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing, demonstrating the ability to provide exceptional patient care in high-pressure environments. The RN will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care for those with life-threatening conditions. This role requires excellent clinical judgment, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and overall health status continuously.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Provide critical care transport for patients when necessary.
- Perform procedures such as phlebotomy, catheterization, and ostomy care.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and families on health management, including hospice palliative medicine and family planning.
- Document all patient interactions and care provided accurately in electronic health records.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Previous experience in an ICU or critical care setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in monitoring vital signs and performing critical nursing procedures.
- Knowledge of hospice palliative medicine practices is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients, families, and team members.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is required.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities.

Pay: $66.13 - $76.00 per hour
