Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center and possess a strong understanding of medical-surgical nursing. This role requires the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive care to critically ill patients.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the ICU setting.
- Monitor and manage patients' vital signs and medical conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust patient care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment options and care plans.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with hospital policies.
- Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and physiology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals.
- Perform specialized nursing tasks such as dialyzing patients, ostomy care, and family planning education as needed.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Experience working in an ICU or similar critical care environment preferred.
- Knowledge of medical-surgical nursing principles and practices.
- Familiarity with trauma protocols in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of physiology and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while providing compassionate patient-centered care.

Pay: $65.00 - $72.00 per hour
