Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs, implementing care plans, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status and medical histories.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Monitor patients for changes in condition and respond appropriately to acute pain management needs.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding health conditions, treatments, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in case management to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation using appropriate medical terminology.
- Assist in the management of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) for patients as needed.
- Participate in hospital medicine rounds and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Experience
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred; experience in PICU or acute care is a plus.
- Familiarity with case management processes and hospital protocols.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to nursing practices.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
