LPN - Nephrology Clinic

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients, assist in medical procedures, and support the healthcare team in delivering exceptional patient services. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with patients of varying needs.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Perform routine patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
• Assist with medical documentation and maintain accurate patient records.
• Provide care for patients with acute pain management needs.
• Conduct phlebotomy procedures when necessary.
• Support airway management for patients requiring respiratory assistance.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals in case management to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Assist in performing spinal taps and other medical procedures under supervision.
• Utilize Cerner for electronic health record management and documentation.
• Lift and transfer patients safely while adhering to proper protocols.
• Work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their unique needs are met.

Experience

• Valid LPN license in the state of practice.
• Experience in a clinical or healthcare setting preferred.
• Familiarity with ICD-10 coding is a plus.
• Previous experience in case management or working with patients with developmental disabilities is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Commitment to providing compassionate care and maintaining patient confidentiality.

Pay: $37.13 - $49.00 per hour
