Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The LPN will work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care tailored to their individual needs.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses to treatments.
- Perform IV infusions and manage intravenous therapy as required.
- Provide basic life support and emergency care when necessary.
- Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans through effective case management.
- Conduct assessments of patients’ health status, including vital signs and physical examinations.
- Offer support in primary care settings, focusing on preventive health measures.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care, particularly in geriatrics and neonatal ventilator management.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice.
- Knowledge of physiology and basic nursing principles is essential.
- Experience in travel nursing or willingness to travel for assignments is preferred.
- Proficiency in medication administration and IV infusion techniques.
- Familiarity with geriatric care practices is a plus.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; additional certifications related to neonatal care are advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
