Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse for our Medical/Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the well-being and recovery of patients undergoing various medical and surgical procedures. This role requires strong clinical skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and patient assessments to determine health status and care needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, including case management for patients with complex needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including IV infusion and acute pain management protocols.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations and collaborate with healthcare providers to interpret laboratory results.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding health conditions, treatment options, and post-operative care.
- Assist in the coordination of care for patients in a Level II Trauma Center environment, including those requiring specialized services such as ophthalmology or pediatric intensive care (PICU).
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Previous experience in a medical/surgical setting preferred.
- Strong skills in patient assessment, case management, and physical examinations.
- Knowledge of acute pain management techniques and IV infusion protocols.
- Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation processes and laboratory procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to educate patients effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities efficiently.

Pay rate Breakdown:
Weekly Gross : $2608
Per hr : $43
OT Per hr : $64.5
Weekly Stipend: $1060
Requirements: Resume, BLS, ACLS, 2 References, covid card and RN License.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $50.00 - $57.00 per hour
